OSCEOLA – Care Connection Rivers Crossing Life Center completed its first week of operation at the new location on Business Highway 13 with many first-time visitors. Due to the increased attendance, lunch serving time will be expanded to begin at 11:30 a.m. and continue until 1 p.m. All ages are welcome for lunch. People ages 60 and above eat by donation with a suggested donation of $4. All others may dine for the cost of the meal, $6.93.

Activities for February and March will include:
Physical Fitness—Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 9:30
Bingo—Tuesdays at 10:30
Toe Nail Clinic—Second Tuesday of each month Feb. 9 and March 8
Health Screen—Third Monday of each month Feb. 15 and March 21
Skin Clinic—Dr. Ford Feb. 24 Noon to 1 p.m.
Soup Fundraiser—Feb. 19 from 5 to 7 p.m. by donation
Line Dancing—Tuesdays at 1 p.m. starting March 1

“We are excited to serve our community and all of St. Clair County in our new facility,” said Margarita Weaver, Coordinator of Rivers Crossing.

The Rivers Crossing Life Center is one of 22 senior centers operated by Care Connection in 13 counties with a mission to provide resources and services that empower people to create healthy aging experiences.
