Care Connection observes Pharmacy Benefits Week

Care Connection for Aging Services has launched a public education campaign to spread awareness about pharmacy benefits for seniors. Many Medicare beneficiaries don’t take full advantage of their pharmacy coverage, resulting in poor medication adherence that can have a negative effect on their physical and financial health, according to Rona McNally, Director of Special Projects for Care Connection. Windsor to have rummage sale

The Windsor Senior Center will have a rummage sale on Jan. 20 and 21 to raise money for center operations. The sale will take place from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 20 and from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, Jan. 21. Items will include baked goods, household items, bedding, electronics, clothing for all ages, toys, shoes and Christmas items.
