Thank you for your concern for my welfare.” EnhanceFitness, an evidenced-based program, offers multi-component group exercises in community settings for older adults. The program was launched in 1993 after successful research studies conducted by the University of Washington (UW). The study found that participation in EnhanceFitness improved physical and psychological functioning in older adults and offered an effective way to prevent functional decline.
EnhanceFitness classes meet three times per week, one hour per session. Other program features include:
