The Rivers Crossing Life Center will host its Spring Fling Dinner and Pie Auction at the new center, 5215 Business Highway 13 NE, in Osceola, beginning at 5 p.m. on May 7.
Events will include music, a live auction, silent auction and a meal of barbecue sandwiches, potato salad, baked beans, pie and ice cream.
Admission is free. The meal price is by donation. All proceeds benefit the home-delivered meal program.
Among the offerings for the live auction are Disney World tickets, a trip to the Downstream casino, furniture, wall art, a Eureka Springs package, Stampin Up Craft Basket, pies and more.
The silent auction includes admission to the Dickerson Park Zoo, the Kansas City Zoo, and a Kansas City Royals game, as well as gift cards and handmade baby hats and scarves.
The center also will host the St. Clair County CHART Health Fair from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 3. That event will include 17 health and wellness groups, including our agency.
Rivers Crossing also plans to have a bake sale in conjunction with the fair. Again, all the proceeds will benefit the home-delivered meal program of St. Clair County.
