Spaghetti Dinner in Marshall

On the eve of the total solar eclipse, we will be going totally meatballs at the Marshall Senior Center. The center is host to a fundraising spaghetti dinner that will support all United Way agencies, including us. The meal costs $7 and will be served from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 20, at 14 E. Morgan in Marshall. The center will be closed on Aug. 21 for the solar eclipse.

Senior Day at the Missouri State Fair

The Missouri State Fair Senior Appreciation Day takes place from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 16, at the Mathewson Exhibition Center on the State Fairgrounds in Sedalia. The event includes vendor exhibits and booths; free Bingo games from 10 a.m. to 11:25 a.m.; line dancing from 11:30 a.m. to 12:25 p.m.; and a pre-show with Ms. Missouri Senior and other guests. 10th Annual Community Senior Festival in Warrensburg

The 10th Annual Community Senior Festival will take place from 11 a.m. to the 2 p.m. at the Johnson County Fairgrounds with food, entertainment and an auction.
