Senior Day at the Missouri State Fair

The Missouri State Fair Senior Appreciation Day takes place from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 16, at the Mathewson Exhibition Center on the State Fairgrounds in Sedalia. The event includes vendor exhibits and booths; free Bingo games from 10 a.m. to 11:25 a.m.; line dancing from 11:30 a.m. to 12:25 p.m.; and a pre-show with Ms. Missouri Senior and other guests. 10th Annual Community Senior Festival in Warrensburg

The 10th Annual Community Senior Festival will take place from 11 a.m. to the 2 p.m. at the Johnson County Fairgrounds with food, entertainment and an auction. The meal includes pork and brisket, potato salad, cole slaw, baked beans, roll, homemade desserts, coffee and tea. Fried Chicken Dinner and Pie Auction in Lexington

Start the Lexington Fair off right at the Margaret Gray Center. The meal includes fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, rolls, homemade desserts and a drink. The event takes place beginning at 4:30 p.m. The pie auction takes place at 5:30 p.m. Entertainment will be provided by Dan Lloyd. The cost is $8 for adult and $4 for children 6 and younger.
