Medicare survey prompts advisory from the Missouri Senior Medicare Patrol

Federal officials have undertaken a national consumer study to gain information about health care experiences of Medicare beneficiaries, prompting an advisory from the Missouri SMP (Senior Medicare Patrol). Care Connection for Aging Services area will present a Medicare 101 presentation. Session are geared toward people who are preparing to enroll in Medicare or recently enrolled in the program – whether they plan to continue working or to retire. Participants will learn about Medicare’s benefits, premiums, deductibles and copayments, as well as the differences in Parts A, B, C, and D. This session will include information from U.S. Sen. Claire McCaskill’s office on Social Security and its website.
