Diana Hoemann, of Warrensburg, Executive Director of Care Connection for Aging Services, has been elected to the board of the National Association of Area Agencies on Aging (n4a).
The n4a represents the interests of 622 Area Agencies on Aging (AAAs) and more than 250 Title VI tribal aging agencies – a nationwide network of organizations that supports the needs of older adults, people with disabilities, and their caregivers.
Before ending her term in September, Hoemann served for three years as the president of the board of the Missouri Association of Area Agencies on Aging, where she still serves as a member.
Hoemann has worked for Care Connection for 34 years, the past six years as its Executive Director. She oversees the non-profit agency that operates 23 locations in West Central Missouri.
Care Connection for Aging Services has as its mission to provide resources and services that empower people to create healthy aging experiences.
