Holden Senior Center to begin program series

The Holden Senior Center is ramping up its programming in 2018 with fun presentations and events for older adults to be presented regularly on the second Tuesday of each month. Care Connection for Aging Services is emphasizing options for seniors who need transportation to medical appointments and to its centers for meals and activities. The Sedalia Senior Center has introduced soup and sandwiches on its menu in an effort to provide options to people who may still be in the workforce or to those who want a light meal. RAPP offers fun for children, support for caregivers in Hickory County

The Care Connection Relatives as Parents Program (RAPP) has three events scheduled for caregivers and children during February. The first, “Taxes, Taxes, Taxes,” will be presented to caregivers at 10:30 a.m. TOMORROW, Feb. 7, at the McCarty Senior Center at 19492 U.S. Highway 54 in Wheatland.
