Senior centers in five West Central Missouri counties will offer a free seminar titled “Money Management: What Every Woman Should Know” monthly through June.
Care Connection for Aging Services’ care managers will offer the repeating seminar in Henry, Johnson, Lafayette, Pettis and Saline counties.
The seminar, which lasts about 90 minutes, is geared toward women 6065 and older; however, the sessions are open to spouses, adult children or potential caregivers as well.
Participants will learn about income needs and sources; savings and investments; credit card debt; long-term care insurance; and financial planning professionals. They also will be armed with the information to make a financial to-do list. As a non-profit area agency on aging, Care Connection does not sell or recommend any products or services.
Reservations are not required but are appreciated so that enough materials are on hand.
