Care Connection will have a trained staff member available from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on March 8 to help seniors aged 65 and older or individuals who are 100 percent disabled apply for Missouri Property Tax Credit, also known as Circuit Breaker. The event will take place at the West Central Missouri Community Action Agency, 106 W 4th St, Appleton City in the Hope Room. Those who qualify may receive up to $750 annually if they are renters or $1,100 if they own their homes. People applying for a Missouri Property Tax Credit need to bring photo identification, proof of Social Security income, and other income, as well as a receipt for paid property tax or a receipt for total rent paid.
