Property Tax Credit Assistance in Rich Hill

Kern Center will have a volunteer available to help seniors to apply for Missouri Property Tax Credit, also known as Circuit Breaker. Seniors who qualify may receive up to $750 annually if they are renters or $1,100 if they own their homes. Participants applying for a Missouri Property Tax Credit need to bring photo identification, proof of Social Security numbers, as well as a receipt for paid property tax or a receipt for total rent paid. The property tax rebate may be applied retroactively for three years.  To make an appointment, contact the Kern Senior Center at 417-395-2225.
