Living a Healthy Life course in Higginsville

Care Connection is hosting a “Living a Healthy Life” class in Higginsville. The course consists of six weekly sessions. The sessions are free, but registration is required by calling 1-660-584-3658 or email lafayetteco@missouri.edu or register below
Topics include:
–Techniques to deal with problems such as frustration, fatigue, pain and isolation.
–Appropriate exercise for maintaining and improving strength, flexibility and endurance.
–Appropriate use of medications.
–Communicating effectively with family, friends, and health professionals.
–Nutrition.
–Decision making.
–Evaluation of new treatments.
