Health Insurance Marketplace enrollment extended into August

If you need health insurance, it’s not too late to enroll in the 2021 Health Insurance Marketplace.

A special enrollment period was extended through Aug. 15 because of the COVID-19 Pandemic. Also, recent federal legislation means that individuals could qualify for more income tax credits based on their incomes.

Because of these changes, the Health Insurance Marketplace is encouraging people who already have Marketplace insurance to revisit their application to see whether they qualify for more tax credits. Also, those who may have not qualified for any tax credits may qualify now under the new laws.
