Relax, enjoy a game, have a hot, nutritious meal, exchange a friendly smile, and engage in good conversation or some exercise. We have a reading library, exercise classes, Bingo, and several card games throughout the day. The pool table, darts and shuffle board are available weekdays. Through the Clinton Senior Center, Care Connection can provide you with a wide array of information and services. Our Care Manager can help you connect with everything from the right Medicare plan to in-home services and information about disease management. Information about topics such as diabetes management, grief support (supported by Golden Valley Memorial Hospice), Elder Abuse, Care Management, Medicare Part D, flu shots, shingle shots and smoke detectors. We also serve as a listening post for federal, state and local governmental elected office holders.
We offer many volunteer opportunities, including friendly telephone visiting, receiving visitors, taking contributions for meals, delivering meals to the homebound, attending to drinks in the dining room, wiping tables, helping with trays, working with decorations, and leading activities.
We rely on contributions from our participants and the public to help support the center. We sponsor a major fundraising event, Gifts of Gold, each October to raise money to support our programs. We welcome the public to support us by attending our fundraisers, or you can donate online here.
