Interested in volunteering?

Care Connection operates the AmeriCorps Seniors Program in six counties – Benton, Cedar, Henry, Hickory, Johnson, and St. Clair. AmeriCorps Seniors is one of the largest volunteer networks in the nation for people 55 and older.

You can use the skills and talents you’ve learned over the years, or develop new ones while serving in a variety of volunteer activities within these communities. Our AmeriCorps Seniors members serve inside and outside of the senior centers. AmeriCorps Seniors volunteers choose where and how often they want to serve, with commitments ranging from a few hours to 40 hours per week. In the past seven years, our AmeriCorps Seniors volunteers have conducted food drives for local pantries, staffed a charitable thrift store, helped provide gifts to homebound seniors, worked at Veterans Day events, served at Head Start locations and helped with back-to-school resource fairs. If you are interested in volunteering in these and other ways, please contact us at information@goaging.org.
