Care Connection has been packing the calendar with events throughout the district this spring.
Sunday Dinner at the Concordia Senior Center will take place this Sunday at 11 a.m. Cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children
A Living a Healthy Life Leader training will take place in Warrensburg beginning on Feb. 20 and 21, all day sessions and again on Feb. 27 ad Feb 28. These sessions are aimed at volunteers who want to teach the Living a Healthy Life course for Care Connection. It’s free.
Medicare 101 workshops take place in each center six times a year, and they are listed through June on the events section of this site.
A Matter of Balance is set for 9:30 a.m. Mondays and Wednesdays beginning on March 2 at the Boonslick Regioinal Library in Cole Camp.
Living a Healthy Life is set for 1 p.m. Fridays beginning March 6 at the Warsaw Senior Center. It’s six weeks, once a week.
The Sedalia Spud Sale will take place Tuesday, March 17th, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cost is $8
The Marshall Spud Sale will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 17th, at the senior center in Marshall.
The Carrollton Spudtacular will take place March 4. The cost is only $7. Call the Carrollton center at 660-542-0399.
Spring Cycle for the Sedalia Senior Center will take place on Saturday, April 25th. Early registration is $25.
A Matter of Balance session
is scheduled for the Butler Senior Center beginning April. 15th. It’s an eight session course taught over four weeks on Wednesdays and Fridays.
