Kinship Connection to begin in Warrensburg this week

This week will mark the beginning of the Kinship Connection meeting in Warrensburg.

We’ve partnered with ParentLink of University of Missouri to present a regular support group for grandparents and other relatives raising children in Johnson County. The new group is part of the Kinship Connection program to serve relatives raising children.

The first meeting will be from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.  Tuesday, Oct. 18, and continue the third Tuesday of every month at the Trails Regional Library, 432 N. Holden St.

Participants will a free gift pack. Participants can receive kinship caregiver credit for licensure through the state of Missouri.
