Current COVID-19 vaccination recommendations state that all adults should receive a primary series of two shots followed by booster. If the booster was not a bivalent booster, you will need one that is. Adults 65 and older should receive a another bivalent booster six months after their first. When you keep up to date on your vaccinations, you are doing your part to protect those who cannot get vaccinated, such as infants or people with certain health conditions or allergies.
