Care Connection for Aging Services invites caregivers of individuals with dementia to join our support group. Meetings will be held every other Tuesday, 1 to 2 p.m., at the Cole Camp Senior Center, located at 206 E. Junge St., starting May 27.

According to the Alzheimer’s Association, over 11 million Americans provide unpaid care for people with Alzheimer’s and other dementia, and these caregivers are two times more likely to report emotional difficulties than other caregivers.

The group offers a safe space for caregivers to share experiences, learn coping strategies, and access valuable resources. Led by a facilitator, the sessions aim to provide emotional, educational, and social support, helping to navigate the challenges of caregiving.
